There is nothing worse than having a REALLY bad toothache, and KNOWING what might need to be done to it. Right now, my tooth (#3 for us dental assistants, current and former), is killing me. I have a crown on it, and I've had problems with this tooth for years, but it was never to the point that it hurt to TALK. That's how bad it is. I can't bite down, and I have to eat soft foods. Noodles are great. They don't require any chewing! I'm going to a dentist in town tomorrow to get it taken care of, and I probably know what is going to happen. He'll take an x-ray, see a very large abscess, and tell me that I shouldn't have let it go this long, and that I either need A) a root canal, or B) they need to pull the tooth. The second option is only if it is very severe, and judging by how long I've had these problems, and what the x-ray shows, it might be a possibility. It's the reason that I'm up at 3 in the morning. I was asleep, but it woke me up.
Just for Amy:
It's #3, the crown that Dr. H did a few years ago and found the hole in the old crown. Sensitive to pressure, and cold temps. It wakes me up at night. I had pain in the lower teeth starting Sunday morning at 3:30 AM, and it then went into the top teeth on Monday, and specifically that tooth Monday Night. I haven't been able to chew on that side for years, and It's been sensitive to pressure and cold for a while. And how sad is this: I know that they will take a PA with a stabe! I need help!

Tonight, I find out who will be the vice president next year. It's kinda weird knowing that this will be the person who will take over my spot, and that I'm responsible for making sure they know what to do. It just makes me feel weird knowing that this year is almost over. I mean, Lil sibs weekend is in 3 weeks. 4 and a half weeks until Ken graduates, moves back home, and I'm stuck here for the summer. THen comes internship. We still haven't found out which hospitals we're going. I want to know. I need to start figuring out housing. This sucks.

Wow. What a weekend. I went to MORHA (Michigan Organization of Residence Hall Associations) this weekend at SVSU. It was awesome. Everyone who went was awesome, but there were moments when I wanted to run away. The theme was around the W.O.R.L.D. and each school had a country they had to represent, and Ferris was France. We got to were berets, even though I'll probably never wear it again. But it was fun. We stayed in the rec center on campus the first night. That was interesting. There was a guy named Chris from Alma in the same room as us, and he was fairly amused by us, considering that half the delegation was making sexual comments all weekend (But when you get boned, carded, teabagged, mounted and the slap, you can't help but think it's dirty.) The facilities were really awesome, except for the community showers, but taking a shower at 2:30 AM can fix that.

So after 3 hours of sleep, we had a day full of programs. Tara and I presented one called "The Stages of Life." Ours didn't make top 6, but Victor's did. And our banner won best "Flag" (banner). After programs, we got to go to the hotel we were staying at. We stayed at the Bay Valley Resort. That place was gorgeous. The banquet was held in the dining room. Awards were passed out, and speeches were given. It was cool. Afterwards there was a dance, and hopefully one of the other delegates will get a date or 2 out of it!
Anyways, I'm glad to be back.
Last night I stayed at Ken's, and he drove me back to my hall at 7 AM so I could go to my classes. I had my RADI 111, but RADI 102 was canceled again. Lab was canceled, and SLA was canceled, so I had one class all day. I've been so bored... I cleaned the fish bowl, his smaller one I transport him in, the bathroom, my room, I did my taxes, signed up for thefacebook, even though I don't know why. So I guess it's been a pretty semi-productive day.
I'm working at the desk for Beth cuz she's sick, and I have RHA at 9. We probably won't have enough people, considering there's no classes tomorrow. Oh well.
I have stuff to do, so I'm going.

I know I haven't really updated. I've been really busy with classes, homework, RHA, programming for RHA... The Bethany Schumaker Tournament I ran went awesome. We raised $700 for the American Cancer Society.
Last week was spring break. I didn't go anywhere exotic... Well, at least not PHYSICALLY! I got to sleep in past 9 which is good. Until 11 most of the week. I got to spend a lot of time with Ken, too. I really enjoyed our week.
I took Casey to the vets over the break, ad they took an x-ray (YAY) of her spine and hips. As soon as the vet put it on the lightboard, I saw what was wrong. She has arthritis in 4 consecutive joints. One is REALLY bad (on a scale of 1-10, I would say it was a 9), the next two were mild, and then another really bad one, probably about an 8. So we got medicine for her, and hopefully it will get better, or just not progress anymore. Me and my dad were thinking about it last week, and we figured out that we got her in 1993, and at that time, she was probably less than a year old. So she's at least 12 years old.
And I really had a chance to spend time with my dad over break. We haven't been close since Linda came into the picture. She put a lot of space between me and my dad. But he called me the other day and left a message, and he called me sweetheart. That made my day.
This weekend is MORHA, and I have a presentation tomorrow, so, I'm going to go.

I went home this weekend. I try not to go home that much, but I wish I had gone home sooner. One of the things I miss the most about home is my cat, Casey. While at home, I noticed that she was walking a little funny. Her back had a bit of a curve to it, and her legs looked like they were stiff. I picked her up, and felt her legs. There was a knot back there, but it wasn't big enough to cause problems. I cut it out, and she was still walking funny. I asked my step-sister if she had noticed it, and she said yeah. She said Casey had been like that for a few weeks.
When my dad called me the next day, I asked him about it. He said that he noticed it too, and that Casey even let my step-sister help her on his bathroom counter to drink from the faucet. That tells me that even Casey knows something is wrong if she lets people touch her(she only lets me and my dad pet her, or pick her up)
My dad is going to call the vet this week, and I will make sure he does. He can't let this go like other things.
She's already 13 years old. We got her in 1992, and she was about a ear old.
I'm so worried about her. I love her so much. I hope she's ok, and that it's nothing serious.

I'm so tired. I think I have too many shifts at the front desk. Today, I've been up since 4 AM, with 2 one-hour long naps. I might give up my Tuesday night shift. But I don't want to cuz it's with my woog, Tracy. But it's also right before my classes. It might just be because I have too much gonig on right now. I'm the main person planning the Bethany Shumaker Volleyball Tournament in February. I couldn't take my usual nap today after classes because I was doing so much stuff for the tournament.
But at the same time, I'm over working myself. I've been doing so much that I haven't had much time to spend with my woogs. I have seen Ken a lot, which is a plus.
Oh well, it will all work itself out in the end.

Hello everyone, I am alive. I was just so busy over break, and we still have dial-up, so I didn't go online much. If I did it was at Ken's, and that was only to check my email.
So Christmas break was good. I had a site visit to a hospital on December 17th, so I was one of the last people to leave school. I left on Saturday around noon. The first part of my break between the 18th and Christmas Eve was spent mostly over Ken's. Actually, that was all of break.
My family Christmas Eve was at our house this year... Again, for the 3rd year in a row. I hate it how Linda tries to be nice, and volunteers to cook dinner, but she stresses herself out and makes life even more of a hell for the rest of us. She's seriously sick in the head. After dinner at my house, I went with Ken to church and then to his grandpa's to spend time with his family.
Christmas day, I spent the morning with my dad, Linda, and Nikki and Johnny, Linda's kids. Usually Linda does the gift shopping, and she did this year too. And she actually did good this year. (A little background... 2 years ago, one of the gifts she got me was a Venus razor, and not a stocking stuffer. Last year, she bought all the gifts in Canada, and when she crossed the border, she couldn't have them wrapped, so when They got home, they handed me a brown box, with all of my UNWRAPPED gifts inside.) So this year, they got me a DVD/VCR player combo, a blanket that's knitted, and it's really warm and heavy.
After my house, I went over Ken's and exchanged gifts with him and his family. That's where I got all my presents from Ken. I'll list everything I got later. After Ken's, I went over my mom's boyfriends sisters house. I had dinner there with my mom, Dann(moms boyfriend), and his sisters family. It was good. They had a crab dip appetizer!!! It was awesome.
After Christmas, my break wasn't very eventful, except for my birthday. I went to Orleans bar in Mt. Clemens with Ken, Laura, Shannon, Robyn, , Laura E, my mom and Dann. It was a good night. I drank a lot, and got really drunk.
New years, I went over Ken's. We had Al and Lisa over, and we played pool and euchre all night. Keith and Aleece came over later. Aleece was already drunk. At midnight, we all had our kisses, and drank champagne. Keith's cork ended up behind the Christmas tree!! Everyone ended up leaving around 4 AM, so I stayed the night.
After new years, I spent more time with Ken and his family. He left a few days later, and I came back up to school on the 5th. Since then I've been putting my room back together and getting ready for classes.
So this is what I got for Christmas:
-Michigan State sweatshirt
-Cast Away
-My Best Friend's Wedding
-a Squish pillow
-Tommy Girl perfume
-some make-up
-$400 for my birthday, and with that I bought:
-A new printer
-an alpacha pillow
-a gold ankle bracelet
-new shoes (brown boot type)
That-s all I can remember.
Part of the reason why my break was so good was because Ken and I decided to work things out. I got to spend a lot of time with him, and it seems like things are getting better. I'm just really glad we decided to try again.
Anyways, I have to get going.
